// What I learned today: I write well under pressure.
I don’t write well when I have infinite amount of time.
Mostly this is because I expect perfection on the first draft.
Unless I don’t have any time at all, in which case anything is better than nothing.
But anything is better than nothing in the infinite-time case, as well.
So, in conclusion, I need to work on giving myself pressure to complete things, and to have the option of rewriting and revising.
This I finally understand as a senior in college. It would have been useful to know throughout college.
At least I learned it before medical school, and have an entire summer to (1) unlearn it or (2) perfect it.
